Hal-zoo-ween

Today Kennedy and I met up with some friends at the Minnesota Zoo for a little pre-Halloween fun. Of course my little princess had to be nothing but a little princess for Halloween.
"The princess and the lady bug" (Kennedy and McKenzie)

Mommy and Princess Kennedy

Kennedy had fun looking at all the fish and making fishy faces.

All three girls posing together...I guess there's more than one princess in the world :)

Do you see the monkey's Kennedy? Ooo ooo ahh ahh!

Can you tell that she had to deal with me taking pictures of her all day long? She was just so pretty in that little dress!

Mom finally won the battle and Kennedy wore the princess hat...well at least long enough for me to take this picture.
What an enchanted day with friends and zoo animals. Oh by the way, did I mention that it was snowing when we left?! Last time I checked it was only October 26th. Yikes!

Play Day

One Fall Day

Kennedy and I went out to play in the yard...I couldn't resist taking a picture of her next to the pumpkin.
Come on mom!...I just want to play!

She finally got away...

...so I figured we better head to the park.

It took her a minute to figure out that she could run around...

...but then there was no stopping her.

Apple Picken' Fun

Kennedy and I went to the apple orchard with my sister and her two girls.
We took a wagon ride through the orchard and the pumpkin fields.

Kira, Me and Kennedy taking a self portrait during the ride.
The self portraits got a little crazy when Becka joined in...Brooke and I were actually trying to pose nice for the camera :)

Apples!

Fellow wagon riders and a beautiful view...

It was a perfect day to see all the wonderful colors of fall.

...awesome view continued.

My little pumpkin strudel!

Becka's little pumpkin heads!
With fresh apple crisp, apple bars and pumpkins in hand, we just missed the down poor of rain as we ran to the car just in time. A great way to spend one of the last warm days of the year!
