Kennedy's 1st Birthday

Kennedy's 1st Birthday!
she wasn't very sure of her first taste of cake...
but she quickly decided that it was very yummy
she sat very quietly eating her cake...
making sure to get every last bite...
until it was all gone

then it was time to open presents
she loved ripping the paper
Kennedy's first doll!
for me?!
Awww!
Auntie Misty put together a picture book of Kennedy's first year
Kennedy also got push clakker
she thought that she would try to wear the dolls shoes
Daddy will you help me put on the doll's shoes?
Kennedy and John

What a great day!

Garden Girl

During our lastest trip to New York to visit family, celebrate Kennedy's first birthday and the fourth of July, Kennedy and I took some time to look at the pretty flowers in the yard.

She loved the way it felt and was so interested in each petal.
So precious!

My beautiful Garden Girl!

Easter

Easter Sunday we dressed Kennedy up in a pretty little dress.
She posed for me in the living room before we went to church.
After a while of sitting still she got restless and started crawling towards me :)
After church we went over to my mom's house where she had a basket waiting for Kennedy...
She sat on the couch unloading her goodies.
I don't think she really knew what to do with it.
I think she liked the basket better than what was inside...
so she dumped everything out to play with it.
One of her gifts was a ducky puppet...which she absolutely loves!
Her cousin Luke read her a picture book...
she sat next to him playing really good while he showed her the book.
Kennedy and her cousins.
And of course, I had to get my picture taken with this beautiful little princess.
Happy Easter!

Lucky Charm

For St. Patrick's Day we got Kennedy a Lucky Charm outfit.
Chris also got her a little leprechaun hat but she didn't like wearing it too much.
Our little Irish princess...
Did I mention that it was a little too big for her?
What a cutie!
She just wouldn't keep it on for anything.

She liked the hat a lot better on dad.

Ok, I'm wearing it! Can you please take it off me now?

New York Trip

Chris and I brought Kennedy to New York for vacation.
It was Kennedy's first airplane ride...she did wonderful!
It was also her first Superbowl and she had a great time watching the game with her dad. She got to experience how it feels to be in a state with a winning football team :)
She had so much fun playing with Nanny...
and she just looooved Poppy!
She played by herself every once and a while but with all the family
that wanted see her this was a rare site :)
Cousins Zachary and Michael came to visit her along with Uncle Richie and Aunt Wendy.
Michael made her smile and laugh by jumping around and being silly.

Aunt Wendy was excited to holding a baby girl for a change.
Chris' Uncle Joe came over from across the street to see his beautiful Princess K.
She was so tuckered out after all the visitors.
Rest up sweat pea...that was only the beginning.
Cousin Janine was excited to meet Kennedy for the first time...
and Aunt Dee flew all the way up from Florida just to see her new little niece.
We had to give her a bath in the kitchen sink since we couldn't bring her little bathtub with us.
Kennedy didn't seem to mind too much.
Ahhh...she made a couple new friends.
We gave her a cup with a drop of water in it...
she was surprised when she found out that there was actually something in there.
It was pretty funny.
Chris' aunts came by to visit the little one as well...
Kennedy seemed so peaceful in Aunt Nonie's arms.
Aunt Chi and Kennedy were goofballs together...
dancing and singing songs.
All in all it was a great trip. A lot of family got to meet Kennedy for the first time, the weather was great, and Chris and I did a lot of relaxing and eating bagels :).
